I am slowly becoming a fan of Clint Eastwood (as a director). Come to think of it, maybe I am already.
I just saw two Clint Eastwood movies back-to-back...

New year, new things!
Because I thought maybe I should give this another try, and Joei inspired me...
Decided to create a new one, abandon LJ and just start from scratch. Let's see where this one will take me.
Hello, world! :)

Because life's a marathon! :)
You set a goal and work hard to achieve it.
You feel the urge to stop, but you find yourself pushing beyond your limit.
You slow down, recover, and carry on...
Then live off the high from crossing that finish line!
Yey for my first ever marathon!
The Condura Run, Skyway Run for the Whale Sharks.
Official time: 38:56 for the 5k run :)
Until the next one! Woohoo! :D

Diana everywhere
This time, I tried shooting people indoors, but I'm not very happy with how most of the shots came out. I only have eighteen decent ones. The rest are just dark and hazy. Must. Have. The Flash.
Unlike my first roll, I dint use any of the frames that came with the camera, so there's hardly any vignetting here. I think I like it better with the frames and vignetting.
Some pictures have thin blue lines across them. I wonder what those are. Parang gasgas. They must have mishandled the film over at the lab. Boo. And there was something wrong with how I rolled my film coz in a few pictures, I can see part of the previous frame--- that, or it must have been the scanning lang. Oh well :)
Pictures from Rona and Ton's wedding, Jay's surprise party, Trinoma, and my favorite not-so-secret place :)

A Sunday Morning of Everything That Flies
Hot Air Balloon Festival
Clark Field, Pampanga
February 15, 2009
And then Zapata's for lunch :)
With Fri, Chai, and TJ.
We did get there a bit late and missed the actual lift off, so we got pictures of the balloons when they were all up in the air already. I've more pictures of the gliders than pictures of the balloons, hee!
Next year, LET'S RIDE! :D

Honeymoon crashers
January 30 - February 1, 2009
Belle View, Tagaytay Highlands
We dint exactly "crash" the honeymoon. For the record, we were invited, and we enjoyed every bit of that chance to be lazy and oblivious to time, just as the newlyweds were :)
We arrived late Saturday afternoon and spent the rest of the day eating, watching True Blood, and watching some more episodes of True Blood until we all got hungry and craved for steaming hot bulalo.
Sunday breakfast was a group effort--- I prepared the (instant) pancake batter, made my own version of the french toast, fried the sausages, and made scrambled eggs; Penny cooked and "flipped" the pancakes and french toast; Alan made crispy bacon and omelet; Paul washed the dishes; and Trish was in charge of cleaning up the rest of our mess :)
Lunch was very late, and we pretty much had the same division of labor (only that Paul did more than just the dishes this time, he actually cooked). And when everything was done, we spent the rest of the afternoon at the balcony with our mugs of hot chocolate and soaked in the whole experience of breathing in fresh mountain air and watching the sun bid another day goodbye.
Yes, this one's the first honeymoon I've been to :)
